DIRECTOR
Anthony Lucca is an award-winning music director, orchestrator, and arranger. World premieres include BRONCO BILLY (Skylight Theatre Company, LA Drama Critic's Circle Award for Best Musical Direction), MUTT HOUSE (Kirk Douglas Theater), CULT OF LOVE (IAMA Theatre Company),
INTO LIGHT (short-film), and workshop productions of new musical theatre in Los Angeles and New York City.
He recently music directed OLIVER (5-Star Theatricals).
Additional credits include: West Coast Premiere of CALVIN BERGER (Colony Theatre Company), CINDERELLA SOMETHING ROTTEN!, MAMMA MIA! (5-Star Theatricals), SIDEWAYS IN CONCERT (Via Reggia Productions), EVITA IN CONCERT (Palos Verdes Performing Arts Center), MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET, SHE LOVES ME (Actor's Co-Op), HONEYMOON IN VEGAS (Musical Theatre Guild), ASSASSINS
(Red Blanket Productions, Stage Raw Nominee).
As a guest artist, he has worked with middle school, high school students, as well as collegiate and also teaches and music directs for the Rubicon Theatre Company's Summer Youth Program, Loyola Marymount University, and is an adjunct faculty member at USC School of Dramatic Arts.
PIANIST
Anthony performs frequently in the jazz and cabaret setting. As a collaborative artist, Anthony is inspired by the opportunity to realize and interpret the storytelling possibilities that
reside within the music.
His mission is keen to understanding and translating the sonic and dramatic environment of a piece where the melody, harmony, and rhythm coincide.
Previous and current venues include: Feinstein's 54 Below, Birdland,
Rockwell Table and Stage, Blue Whale, Sterling's Upstairs at the Federal Bar,
Hollywood Bowl.
COMPOSER
Anthony has composed music for
several award winning short films and plays.
He was recently commissioned by Mixed eMotion Theatrix to write dance and incidental music for an adaption of Han's Christian Andersen's
THE SHADOW.

ORCHESTRATOR &
ARRANGER
Anthony enjoys collaborating
with composers and songwriters in developing and transferring their music to an orchestral or other performance medium. His experience in both composition and orchestration allows him to collaborate as an orchestrator who is sensitive
and supportive to the composer's original vision, while focusing and heightening the lens
of its musical storytelling amongst
instrumentation and texture. Current musicals include: THE BELLES ARE SWINGING, SIDEWAYS THE MUSICAL, and KING OF PANGAEA.
